The International Fuel Quality Center (abbreviated as IFQC) was published by the International Center (hereinafter - MC) for the Monitoring of Fuel Quality (the full name of the organization in English is The International Fuel Quality Center, abbreviated) gasoline quality rating in 100 countriesbased on its sulfur content. For reference: the above MC was established in 1998 as a branch of Hart Energy Publishing LLP. This energy information company is now one of the largest in the world. IFQC is a service specializing in the collection of analytical data on the quality of transport fuel.
Sulfur Is a natural component of oil. Due to incomplete purification of raw materials, it remains in the transport fuel. When gasoline burns, sulfur enters the air. Sulfur compounds have a detrimental effect on human health and the environment. Thanks to the cleaning of gasoline, it is possible to significantly reduce the level of emission of sulfur, nitrogen oxides, carbon, to make the engine run longer and more efficient.

IFQC rating data is updated every six months. The location of the country in the rating conducted for the last time was determined on the basis of:
- the maximum allowable sulfur content in gasoline based on national standards;
- the maximum allowable norm according to local or regional standards (for example, this rule was valid for cities or states);
- years of restrictions.
What conclusions follow from the study, where is the highest quality gasoline? According to IFQC analytics, the best option in terms of quality composition is offered in Germany. Second place in the ranking was allotted to Japan. Several countries were simultaneously in third place: Austria, Estonia, Denmark, Hungary, Finland, Sweden divided it among themselves. Poland is in 9th position. Ukraine can be seen on line 48 data list submitted by IFQC. The quality of gasoline in Russia was awarded only 84 places.
There are also noticeable leaps, both positive and negative. The most significant deterioration in gasoline quality in the world is in the USA. This country has lost as many as 35 positions. Russia lost 34 positions, Canada - the same number, Uzbekistan lost 30 positions, and Azerbaijan - 27. The most noticeable improvement in fuel quality in Morocco: the country has moved 76 positions in the IFQC rating. The place of Albania has increased by 36 positions, Macedonia - by 33, South Korea - by 29, Panama - by 28.
